With great sorrow and consternation we have to inform you that our CCA director, Dorian Cosijnse, has suddenly passed away.
Sudden loss
Saturday afternoon she was involved in a car accident on the road from Kaabong to Napak and lost her life in the crash.
It is difficult for us to comprehend this sudden loss. This Sunday afternoon we visited Dorian’s family to mourn together, comfort each other and share our memories of Dorian.
Our thoughts and compassion are with Dorian’s family. We wish them Gods strength to bear this deep loss. It is a consolation to the family to realise how much Dorian has meant for the vulnerable children in Uganda during her life.
Our children
This message will have a great impact on many of our children. Most children knew Dorian very well personally. Our thoughts are with them. We offer support to the CCA staff members and partners in Uganda to bear this enormous loss and we will not let them down.
How to carry on with the beautiful work Dorian has done, we do not know at this moment, but it is clear to us that we will continue this. Dorian would most certainly have wanted that.
