Mija den Hartog started as office manager for CCA

As of April 1st Mija den Hartog started in the position of office manager at Child Care Africa Foundation.

In this position, Mija takes care (two days a week) of the coordination of the work in the foundation, such as preparing meetings, providing reports, relationship management of large donors and representation of the foundation to partners in the Netherlands and Africa. In addition, Mija will make working visits to Africa to assess the operations of CCA and its partners on location.

Mija previously worked for the Woord & Daad foundation for 5 years and gained extensive experience with sponsorship programs for children in Africa, Asia and Central America, fundraising and maintaining contacts with partner organizations. Mija also lived and worked together with her husband and children for a period of 7 years in Indonesia from the Oikonomos foundation. We are therefore happy and grateful that Mija is joining the CCA team in the Netherlands. Her knowledge and experience provide a solid foundation within the organization, which will enable us to further expand CCA. 

Mija, like a number of other employees working for CCA in the Netherlands, is employed by WVS Holding. These employees are seconded to CCA without charging any costs. This ensures that all donations to CCA are 100% spent in Africa. CCA does not pay salaries/expense allowances to board members or office rent in the Netherlands
