Jojanneke Oudenaarden

Position: Coordinator Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)

About me:

As of September 1, 2025, I have joined CCA-F on a part-time basis. I have been appointed as the CBR Coordinator for the Karamoja region in Uganda. I am taking over this role from Frank van der Maas, who has developed and shaped the CBR project over the past three years.

In daily life, I work as an anesthesia and ambulance nurse in the province of Utrecht, the Netherlands. I am married, and together with my husband we are raising a family with three (now grown-up) children.

Knowledge and experience:

Since 1995, I have been working in healthcare. I started as a general nurse, followed by several specializations, including tropical medicine. After completing my training in tropical healthcare, I was active in various countries, including Zimbabwe (pediatric anesthesia), Haiti (support for orphans), and Afghanistan (malnutrition program for children).

Motivation:

Throughout my career in healthcare, I have gained experience both in the Netherlands and abroad. Over the years, I have always felt called to care for the most vulnerable. After being less active internationally for a few years, I now have the opportunity to dedicate myself again to serving children and young people with disabilities through CCA-F. A true answer to prayer!
