In September 2020 we published an article about help to children with a cleft lip in Uganda. The last months a lot has happened. Two children, Samuel en Louda, have had surgery now and have recovered beautifully. 10 Other children with a cleft lip are waiting for surgery.
Some of these children were to malnourished to deal with the operation. For these children we start a nutrition clinic in AWARE in Kaabong, where they could recuperate for surgery. The children made a rapid progress in achieving their targeted weight. They soon can have surgery.
For a next visit to CoRSU, travel expenses and the surgery of these children we need donations.
