Child Care Africa offers 188 vulnerable children and youngsters in Karamoja (Uganda) the possibility to go (back) to school and work on their future. Unfortunately the schools closed in March due to COVID-19, therefore the students were forced to go home.
Fortunately the students are allowed to go to school again this week. And we are extremely happy about that.
The children receive all necessities to start the school year. Like soap, malaria nets, notebooks, pencils, buckets, mattresses, etc. The go to boarding school in the neighbourhood and are visited there regularly by our local teams.
They have not had any form of education for over a year. It will take a while to get used to school life again. Dear students, good luck everybody !
